Welcome to Market Weighton Town F.C.!

We are a volunteer-led football club dedicated to providing fun, development, and opportunities for players of all ages in Market Weighton and the surrounding areas. As a Two Star Accredited Club with England Football, we’re proud to offer a complete player pathway, from our youngest starters to adult teams, all within FA-sanctioned leagues.

Founded in 1972, our club has grown into a thriving community, with over 140 players ranging from 5-year-olds to adults. In 2022, we adopted our current status as Market Weighton Town F.C., and with our new home at The Market Weighton School, we’re excited for the future! Our FIFA-approved 3G Football Turf Pitch (opened in January 2023), along with grass pitches, a sports hall, and fantastic facilities, ensures we have everything we need to support our teams.

Our coaches are all FA qualified, safeguarding trained, and first aid certified, and every volunteer working with children is DBS checked. Whether it’s our Market Weighton Minis for beginners or the Market Weighton Wildcats for young girls eager to give football a try, our focus is always on fun, friendship, and the love of the game.

Each of our 10 teams is supported by dedicated parents, managers, and coaches, all working together to create an environment where kids can grow not just as players but as people. We believe football should be for everyone, and we’re committed to fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for players, parents, and fans alike.

At Market Weighton Town F.C., we’re all about creating lasting memories and strong community bonds. Many of our players, coaches, and families have been with us for years, and we hope to keep that tradition alive by continuing to nurture the next generation of footballers and fans.
